Hello,
Does anyone have the scoop on a approximate date for halo 2 on the PC. I pray microsoft doesn't wait another 3 years b4 putiing it on the PC. I really don't want to reduce myself on buying an XBOX just for it.
I think Halo 2 is only for XBOX, there will not be a PC version in the near future....as far as i know.

Yes i have (had) a 1971 Plymouth Duster. I had the car up until about 3 months ago, decided to sell it for some $$$. Now i have a 68' Dodge Dart, very clean car.
Duster specs:
318ci(340 would have been nice), 4BBL carb, high lift/duration cam, mopar performance ignition, 904 trans w/ shift kit. Car had some power, just had crappy gears in the rear-end (273 ratio). Body was straight, paint wasn't bad. Interior was redone (black). I had the car for 4 years (first car). Fun car to work on and drive. BTW, crager ss wheels look prety sweet on duster's, or torque thrust 2's.

I think plyduster is right. I think only for xbox and if it does get ported it will be like a long time after the xbox release date like halo 1, if my facts are straight.

yeah my bro has a 72 and he has ss's on but we can't find any to buy (we need bigger rims 4 disk brakes) in 5x4 bolt patern

360 (being rebuilt), rally wheels,A/T,A/C, 4bl holly, bad interior(white), bad smurf blue paint,power disk front/ drums back, getting new paint and interior same colors!72 duster:
318 (needs to be rebuilt), ss 15's, A/T, A/C,2bl holly, good interior (kind'a tan), bad nonclear coat dark green pait, drums all a round, still got all origenal parts!

yeah halo 2 will probly never come out for pc becasue they only reason halo did is to add online play, something that halo 2 will already have. btw, what's the name of this website? oh yeah its computing.net...THAT must be why this thread is all aobut cars

Well, as far as a date for the release of Halo 2, everything I've seen says April 2004. Take a look at Amazon, Wal-Mart, Costco, Bestbuy. They all have different dates listed, but the general concensus seems to be first part of April (except Bestbuy which claims around the first of March).
Bungie hasn't said anything yet, so don't hold your breath.

I have a rather past PC 2.53ghz oc to 3ghz with 1024mg pc3000 ram and a GeForceFX5900 and Halo PC still lags like mad... Unless PCs get a hell of a lot faster and more efficient, they wont even be able to run Halo 2 and have it look good (If Halo 2 even is released for PC).

Hey Ian mate. Your Pc is around 3 times more powerful than the Xbox. PC gaming is better than Xbox. Maybe get a new proccessor if game lags

Dude the only reason it lags so much is because of your internet speed, if it lags when you playing multiplayer. If it is when you play one player then you need to get More Ram or a fast Processor. I really hope Halo 2 comes out for PC that would be really cool and good for Microsoft.

Regarding Halo 2 release dates, Amazon.com, Walmart, Toys`R`Us, and any other store that predicts a spring release of Halo 2 is wrong. Bungie just announced that Halo 2 will SHIP FALL 04. So we have to get through spring and summer to get to it. I imagine we will see more E3 Videos when it happens. And the possiblity of Halo 2 PC, I am gonna go ahead and assume they are going to put H2 on PC, but only High End and Home/Purpose built gaming rigs will be able to run it. Thats just my assumptions though. FALL 04

I don't care what anyone says, if they don't make Halo 2 for PC they are MORONS. FPS are better on PC no hands down. Halo 1 was laggy and crap, a 4 year old game repackaged with second-rate goodwill weapons and the new multi play feature. Make Halo 2 for PC with the same graphics, and smoothe gameplay and you'll make my day!
