Well I know the gaming on Windows Vista is still not common, i was wondering if anyone could tell me why Half-Life 2 is laggy on it, I run at the same settings i do on XP but HL2 lags. I did a fraps test and my FPS is ok most of the time, its during certian parts its becomes unbarable.

Oh and I wont be on this much longer, ill be on an A64 3200 skt 754, 6600GT, and 1gig DDR 400

Cool cool, probably just Vista uses more ram than XP, or maybe that whatever graphics card you have now doesnt have the best drivers for it? Well your probably better off asking Microsoft directly then us.

I think we'll stick to WinXP/Win2k for now, and wait until Vista comes out of BETA.
