In ALL HL2 game, even CS: Source, half-life 2, at times when I play the game has a weaird crakling noise ecoie noise when i play the entire time. But it goes away (usually) if i select 2 speaker mode, but i have 4 speakers and id like to hear it lol. Then later on in the game when i select 4 speaker mode it sounds normoal again. This is getting very annoying having to mess with my sound settings. And yes, i do have the proper set-up in the windows sound window thing. i have tryed different sound qualities in the game and its alll bad. My sound card is Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Digital. the driver is up-to-date, and ummm they dont seem to patch it no more.
help its annoying.
