Ok i just got my laptop and installed steam (go steam!) and atempted to play half life 2. The 1st time I go to the "New game" screen before BAM the sound begins to "broken record" and the screen turns blue with lots of white text for a 1/2 second and my computer restarts. The second time I get 2 seconds into the main menu and BAM same thing. So then I try to play counter strike... I get into the game make a server and while its loading BAM blue screen and restart. So I try to make a server without bots and it works! I manually try to add bots and after adding 4 it still works. Iplay for a while and dicide to add more... I add 1 more and BAM blue screen. Then I tried to play on a public sever (go ty_iceworld) and it works fine, no blue screen! HELP WHATS GOING ON????

First of all, thank you for your response! Secondly I have no clue how to install Sp3, i search for it on google and went to there website. All i could find was the download overview :(. I have no clue about installing drivers... and memtest86 cost money...I let steam update though! I atemped to run he game again and Bam blue screen, but I took alook at the error report!
