Hi I have a s---ty SiS onboard video card and my counterstrike runs slow what would i have to do to Make it not lag. I had Zone Alarm and CS open and it was f---ing lagging i couldnt evan aim! >:-(
Close anything that you don't need open and turn your detail levels down. If it is still running to slow for you, you may want to consider upgrading.

alon with a new video card you should get some more ram too, so you don't bottleneck your comp

I wouldnt really suggest buying any more ram necuase it might be hard to fin the right speed.
Try and find some high fps configurations for CS. Play in lower resolutions Play in 16bit mode. and in de_aztec: cl_weather 0

hard to find the right speed? naw it should be easy! either at newegg.com or http://www.4allmemory.com/index.cfm
If you have a weird comp at 4allmemory they have the ram spasific for your computer! I have a vaio with pc800 and couldn't find it any where untill i whent on 4allmemory! its easy all you do is put the manufacturer and modle and boom! you got the right ram for your computer! some ram is more expancive because it may not be as popular but its still realy good!
