I've just completed Half-Life 2 single player and fancied re-exploring some of the levels with a little more of an edge just for fun and I was wondering what Valve regards as cheating worthy of suspending Steam accounts for? I'm guessing that singleplayer cheats and trainers aren't going to get me banned???
I've heard that Valve is very very strict on cheating. Does this mean multiplayer hackers using hack utilities only?

Well.. while I don't have an exact answer.. I can say that it would be ridiculous for Valve to suspend your Steam account for anything you do in singleplayer. What is up with Steam anyway? did somebody really steal source files while they were creating HL2? thats what I heard anyway...
Nate

if you are using trainers, use steam as offine mode.

dean!

Hey, i did the same as u, completed the game then went back through and played some levels with cheats, my steam account still works so you should be alright, i think they only suspend u if u use cheats on multiplayer online games
