I had recently gone through the trouble of downloading and installing GunZ: The Duel. I am able to enter the lobby and even enter games, but when in a game, I cannot see the other players, and in the corner it repeatedly says Agent Error. Now, afterwards, I begn asking people, and they told me to port forward. So, I went to portforward.com, and followed all of the steps, but when I reached the end, I realize that I didn't have the required Server IP Address that the router wants. I tried changing around ports on GunZ, but to no avail. So, my question is, how would I find it, and am I doing anything wrong with port forwarding? And, could you please explain port forwarding, and help me accomplish this task?
Yes, I have tried reinstalling. My processor has been pretty good, and I would think it would surpass the recommended Pentium 3.
Graphics may be a problem, since my laptop is running on the integrated graphics. But, if that's the case, then there's no way to fix it.
I had been told by several people that if I port forward, it'll work, and several said they had the problem before they port forwarded. I had looked up my router on portforward.com, but at the very end of the thing it kinda left me without a server IP address, so I wasn't able to try to port forward.
It had left me wondering if there was another way to fix this.
That happened to my laptop whenever i was at my dads house and there was nothing i could do about it but when i got to my moms house it worked perfectly so it might be the internet (not positive though)
I'm having this strange problem where Gunz refuses to connect on the beggining loading screen, i've tried manually patching, re-intstalling disabling my firewall but nothing seems to be working, any ideas on how i could fix this?
if it is the torrenting that is taking a long time than thats not a real problem because it most of the time it takes a long time to torrent the first time
This is nothing to do with your Graphic Card. Actually Were running the same on my laptop. But it still Works. Agent Error Means there server is not accepting NAT/FIREWALL configuration. Thats what people said "Port Forward". So the Port that Gunz using will run outside the firewall. I got a Double problem cause i Set Up my Home Network on 2 Routers and 1 Wired and 1 Wireless. 1 Solution on this problem is turning off your Firewall. Gunz Developer is working on this problem and I wish soon be solve.
