hi, i'm trying to play gunboundwc gis with this pc : amd k6-2 500(overclocked 550mhz) 256mb kingston pc133 (@100mhz) gf2 mx400 64mb pci free disk space 2.3gb directx9.0c after i've logon with my password and click, my pc will reboot. anyone konws whats wrong? i believe this pc have met its system requirements. thanks..

Well first to state the obvious.. That comp sucks.....lol Ur running direct X 9 that card only supports the 6-7 version maby 8 i cant remeber. that may fix your problems, reply so i know.. and others if they have the same problem.

i'v looked around and i havent read anything on that card supporting Diret X 8.. let alone 9.0c

hi karl, yup, i do agree that this comp sux. ;> my p3 system just went bad last week, so i've no choice but to use this pc before the new p3 board arrive. i was wondering if the cpu is the cause of this problem. previously, i've been able to run gb on mi p3 system, its specs are as below : p3 600eb (clocked at 792mhz) 2 x kingston pc133 128mb ram 1 x nobrand pc133 128mb ram gf2 mx200 64mb pci directx9.0c everithing runs fine till i swap the ram and vga card to this pc. note : i made a mistake, the vga card is actually gf2 mx200 and not as previously mentioned mx400. also, it doesn't really matter if its on directx9 or 8 cos it does run fine on the p3 system. thanks
