Hi, I've recently bought GTA Vise City and installed it on my uncles PC and we had a good time playing it. But when I came home to install it on my PC, the installation process went very well with out any error messages, but when I try to play the game it keeps asking me to insert the Play CD. no matter which CD I insert it keeps poping up the same message. So, I went back to my uncles house to uninstall the game and then installing it back, surprisingly it didn't work there either ?? We both have the same PC specs, our Graphic cards and other hard wares are compatible with these games and the drivers are always up to date.

Could the CD have become damaged in transit? See if you can read it in Windows Explorer

This is probably caused by the copy protection on the CD. Try turning off DMA mode on your CD ROM drive.

Thanks guys for all your help .. I think I got it .. Theres a folder in CD2 (Play CD) by the name "CRACK" I just copied the gtavc.exe from there and paste it in the original directory where the system automatically installed the game .. Now it's running perfect.
