Hi I would like to make backup copies of my GTA VC CDs but they are copy protected. If i create an image with Alcohol and then mount the image and install, it says "data2: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" and the same message appears if i try to copy the file from the cd (it doesn't even start to copy, the cds are fine bcause images are successfully created with no "skip reading errors" option cheked. But installation runs fine from the CD, so which software should i use to make copies because i do not want to lose the CDs as they already have a lot of scratches.
I'm 100% sure it's not scratches as i've stated above, the installation from the CD installs up to the end and i can even play the game. But as soon as i try to copy contents from the disc i get errors. From what i dug up, the CDs have some kind of an encryption (securom or something like that) so what i want to know is how can i make backup copies of the CDs.
