when i start the game it shoes nvidia then its video then the name of the game.
After that it close down and shows my dektop
i don't know what is the problem with it.

You need to list your system specs...especially the model of your video card.

You need a LOT more RAM that 256MB for gaming...it's barely enough for WinXP alone.

no only it happens with gta san andreas it have its own graphic card neither of nvidia and ati .
i am to run nfs most wanted correctly but not gta san andreas .
it an acer pc with 3.4ghz and 512mb ram
and the game is working on my friends pc

With GTA San Andreas it's almost always the audio drivers, you should try updating your audio drivers from the acer website i guess? If that still doesnt work, try updating your graphics drivers as well. You should be able to successfully run the game, then. Just be sure to note that with onboard sound, the game would stutter a lot at some points and even with dedicated sound cards it's known to have many problems as well.
