Have no idea what you're asking. What is a "posterised look"?

Once again... With ATi graphics cards, the user must rotate between different driver versions for different games. ATi's drivers are just about the worst in the industry.

Either go to ATi's website and try different driver versions, or get a graphics card that has more stable drivers like Nvidia.

"ATi's drivers are just about the worst in the industry"

To the best of my knowledge, ATI has never put out a driver that actually damages cards:

nvidia driver 196.75 kills cards

"still recommend that i find a new driver??"

The problem is you're running the AGP version of a "modern card". ATI has put out a hot fix that's availabe at their website:

Others have suggested trying the ATI Omega drivers:

"To the best of my knowledge, ATI has never put out a driver that actually damages cards:"

Yes, can't deny this. But this has been known for many previous versions, and it still is an issue. What is happening is that Nvidia is setting the fan speed to roughly 30% and not allowing throttling "unless" the user installs Ntune and throttles the fan speed back up to 100%. My 9600GSO also crashes if Ntune is not installed to fix the fan issues.

BUT! The posters issue above was drivers wasn't it? Heh.
