Hi,
I have recently bought a new graphics card. An MSI Geforce FX 5900. At first everything was running fine but lately i have been getting a lot of green pixels displayed on the screen, especially in Toca Race Driver & slightly less so in Half Life 2.
Also in Toca it seems to have trouble drawing the images i.e part of the ceiling or wall will flash randomly.
Does anyone know what may be causing this i.e. overheating graphics card or bad memory on the card? Maybe a driver issue although i haven't changed the drivers from when it worked.
Any ideas?
Thanks :-)

Download the latest offical drivers for your graphics card from this page. It's the first one listed on that page. That might fix the problem.
See if the resolution, bit depth or refresh rate make any difference. Also, have you overclocked whatsoever?
This may sound obvious: have you checked the video cable lead? Make sure it's fully connected, both at the monitor and graphics card. If it's at all possible, try a different monitor temporarily.
When your PC is running, with the cover off, try placing your hand near to the heatsink (or fan, if it has one) and get a general feeling for the temperature of the core. You'll know if it's too hot, I promise.
If none of those solutions work, I'd return it to the place of purchase and get a replacement or a full refund.

Yes, try those first, but I'll bet that it's defective, especially if you ordered it and had it shipped. My GeForce FX was either damaged in shipping, or already had physical problems; therefore, I experienced similar graphical glitches, like green flashing stuff all over, like yours. I had it replaced with another card, and now everyting's fine.
