Graphics Messed Up

Every time I try to play graphiclly orintated games/movie on my computer, lots of white lines will go across the screen and eventully give me a BSOD. I have an Shuttle MN31N with the Geforce 4 MX intergrated GPU (Is that the problem? I've heard bad things about MX)
