OS: XP Media Center 2005
CPU/Ram: AMD X2 4400/ 1GB
Model/Manufacturer: Self Built
Comment:
I just built a new computer with an HIS Radeon X1650 graphics card. I was about to play a game, but then I started messing around with the graphics card options. I turned it to antiailasing, and then the monitor shut down becuase it could not detect the signal. I tried using other monitors that I have but those couldnt detect the signal either. Is there anyway I can turn this antialiasing effect off??

Uhm. Are you sure you are using the latest drivers for your video card and such? Try reinstalling your game to reset the graphics options-store your game save data somewhere so you can put in it the correct directory later on when you do reinstall. Good luck.

If you are using the Catalyst drivers from ATI, depending on what version you are using, there is an option in there to force Anti-Aliasing (therefore you can force it OFF). I'm cant give you any more direct instructions as you haven't specified which version of the drivers you are using.

Basically though, if you start Catalyst Control Centre, should be the first option if you right-click the desktop (if you have it, if not "Right-Click Desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Advanced", now you will either have a tab for the control centre or many tabs with all the options), you should be able to find yout way from here.

Thanks alot guys. As it turned out, all I had to do was just reboot the computer, and the settings were reset.
