I'm looking at buying a new PC and am looking at
two different graphics cards...the GeForce
9600GT 1GB and the GeForce GTS250 512MB
but am not sure which is the overall best. Need to
know which one is better and which one would
cope best into the future. Thanx.

The GTS250 is the better card. 512MB vs 1GB doesn't mean a heck of a lot. In fact, 1GB cards are *usually* slower than 512MB cards of the same type. Make sure to look at the specs...there's major differences in core & memory speeds between manufacturers.

Thanks a lot. This is really helpful and confirms what somebody
else told me the other day. Thanks again
