I am trying to install my Radeon 9600se graphics card. The card is in the AGP slot and the monitor is connected to it. The computer started fine, no add new hardware wizard came up (the manual said this didn't matter anyway since I was supposed to cancel the wizard). I tried to install the Catalyst software but I get the following: INF error Video driver not found, then it tells me to install a standard VGA driver. So I try to uninstall my Intel Extreme Graphics driver, reboot, Windows cannot load. Now I'm in safe mode with networking. I've been playing around, but I always end up right here. Sometimes when I boot, the wizard comes up to install the card, then it comes up right after that one and installs it again as secondary. I tried new drivers, windows update found something, but it didn't help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

install the software that came with your gc, just insert the disk and go from there and never install a driver that dont mach your gc.
