I just bought a new graphics card but theres one problem. The graphics card fits but my monitor is blank (black) when i turn on my computer. My power supply is a Powork 600 Watt costing me $50. My new card is a BFG Geforce 7800 GS OC. Everything is plugged in correctly and im not sure if it could be my monitor. Monitor is a 1999 Gateway EV700, (Came with old computer, but compatible with dell). PLEASE HELP ME!

There's probably nothing wrong with your video card or your monitor. The problem is your PSU is a cheap piece of crap! And $50 is twice as much as it's worth:

If you haven't done so, go into device manager and disable your motherboard graphics display.

Hey guys, i was wondering if this power supply would work with my BFG 7800 GS OC graphics card. Remember that the BFG 7800 requires 400 watts and a minimum of 20A. does this card meet those requirements?
