That's funny! OS = Operating System...in other words, what version of Windows you're running.

Your eMachine uses an FIC motherboard, model number K7M-400/K7M-400A, also know as model AM39L/AM39LS. You're in luck because it has an 8X AGP slot. How much as you willing to spend on a video card? If you're in the US, newegg.com has been running a rebate sale on several Sapphire video cards. The Radeon 9600XT 256MB 8X AGP card will cost you about $60 after rebate (& shipping):

Funny but plausible - there was an archaic version of aol that was bootable and actually installed on a formatted drive much like an OS did.

AOL ofcourse did not acknowledge the uninitiated exercise & its detractors did it with the intent of depicting how bloated the browser was even back then......LOL

Heh - a recent post in the driver forum lists:

... so don't feel too badly

This isn't an ATI vs nVidia issue, the FX5200 & FX6200 both suck...that's why nobody ever recommends them.

And if you bothered to check the specs of his eMachine or the K7M-400/K7M-400A board, you'd know why no one is recommending a high end card. Plus the PSU in the eMachine isn't capable of supporting a power hungry card like a 6800.

That 9600XT is a good "fit"...it uses 256MB GDDR2 RAM & is very overclockable. It doesn't need to be connected to the PSU & it will definitely play SIMS 2 (& a lot of other games) very well, plus it only costs $55 after rebate

Interesting that the 9600XT outperforms the 6600GT, 6800GT, & 6800Ultra in SIM 2 when the "Smooth Edges" are turned off. Also notice that the FX5700 (which is way better than the FX5200) is dead last in every single benchtest:

This group of tests should make it even more clear why the FX5200 is never recommended:
