Reply: (edit)What is your PSU? Also, make sure your motherboard and chipset drivers are updated. With that card, your not going to be able to play most of the newer games on high settings. Possibly only Low/Medium. "White men can jump"

Reply: (edit)"My PSU us 550 watts" That means nothing. Did you pay over $50 for it? If not, it's not a good 550W PSU

Reply: (edit)$30 for a 550 watt power supply with a case, that is a the cheapest deal ever... But why would people pay upto 100's for a high quality power supply if the $30 550 watt perform the same? You get what you paid for... TMP-ManAsus P5P800-SE P4 506 @ 4200Mhz 1.45v Thermaltake CLP0024 w/ 1700RPM 92MM + AS5 1GB Corsair 2-3-3-5 DDR400 120GB/300GB 7200RPM HD MSI 6600GT AGP 550/1150

Reply: (edit)it wasnt 30 total, the case was $80 itself and it was 30 more to add on the PSU, so $110 for a case and power supply doesnt sound to bad to me... the PSU supplies enough power to the card, iv check the bios and and then checked out how much voltage the card needs... so if the PSU is not the prblem then what is?

Reply: (edit)dude... what brand is the PSU... a 550W generic PSU is often worse than a 350W good PSU e.g. 550W Antec vs 550W generic
They both have the same power but the transistors and everything in the PSU is different its like if i take your brain and replace it with the brain of a monkey the same age as you... which one will be smarter...
Wait dont answer that... *Seinfield - The Dealership* Coco... yeah that monkey is allright... High Five! TJ297 All Prices are in Auzzie Dollars =DAMD 3800+ 2 Gig RAM Nvidia 7800GT Thermaltake 430w PSU Antec LAN-boy Case Onboard Sound WOOOOT Surprisingly not bad :p

Reply: (edit)opened up my case and looked, its a PowerMagic 550 watt switching power supply with dual fans... so your saying thats it generic, and it would operate at 350 watts, wouldnt that still be enough to run a graphics card?
