Okay.. Im looking for a graphics card that is an approvement over my intergrated 64 MB or bit or whatever intgrated graphics.. But I do not wish to pay over 100 dollars for a graphics card that will be useless in 6 months time... Any suggestions on a cheap card that can last that long yetis... cheap lol.. and I dont need perfect graphics.. But something better then my intergrated stuff would be good. The games I play is mostly Halo now a days if that can help narrow down decent cards. http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=865GM2-LS&class=mb That is a link to my mobo specs as well.
P4 2.6 Ghz
40 GB HD
256 MBs of DDR 333 RAM

It's an LE though, they are crap aren't they?
Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb
AMD Barton 2800
Asus A7N8X E-Deluxe
512 DDRAM PC2700

Yeah but you can easly do some tweaking to make the LE faster, otherwise I suggest a Geforce 3 TI500. real nice card for $46 bucks Runs all my games at a respectible framerate (UT2004, BF 1942, Halo)

I would highly recommend you to up your budget to around $120 and get a Radeon 9600 pro or XT. With DirectX 9 games that are coming out here very soon (and some out now), if you're going to be playing them, you're really shooting yourself in the foot if you get any of the above mentioned cards.
If it must be under $100, how about a plain jane 9600? Those run around $95.
MCSE, MCSA Messaging, baby!

Yeah The Geforce 4 Ti4200 is great got 1 now i can play UT2004 on max detail with 35-40 fps. the Geforce 3 TI500 also has some Oc'in abilitys. Herophco i was just pickin out the cheapest card he could possibly find that can accualy play todays games good.
