I was wondering what is a good video card that is around 50 bucks. I have 1.37gb of RAM and Call of Duty 4 is still too laggy to play. I just want a video card that will let me play COD 4 and other good games out now and that will be coming out in the next couple years. If there are none around 50 bucks I am willing to pay a little bit more but under 100.

We need to know what type of card....AGP or PCI-Express? Regardless, you're not gonna find a good AGP gaming card for $50 & even at the $100 level you're not gonna find a card that's gonna be a good gamer 2 yrs from now.

Also, you need to be aware that a more powerful video card *may* require you to upgrade the power supply.

THat's a good point. I needed to put an additional power supply in my XPS Gen5, after I installed an 8800.

I suppose you can go to Best Buy and check out some VooDoo cards, they are cheap. Good luck.

Common sense is not common.

Well with your budget you can have a look at the ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512MB GDDR2 card, a recent deal on it is $50.

Those suggestions are only good if the OP has a PCI-e slot. Unfortunately, he's never returned to tell us which slot type he has.
