There are definitely better motherboards out there. This one doesn't get very good reviews plus it only has 2 RAM slots. You'll probably never need more than 4GB, but you never know. Since you're gonna be running a 32-bit OS, not all 4GB will be available anyway.

DDR2-800 RAM would be better if you plan on overclocking, but the DDR2-667 should at least get you up to 3.0GHz. Make sure to run 1:1 ratio.

The power supply is "iffy". Sparkle (Forton) makes good PSUs, but I don't know if this one is adequate for your system. And it may not have the 6-pin PCI-e plug required by the 8800GT.

What mobo and power supply would you recommend then? Also is there onboard sound on the motherboard or do I need to buy a sound card as well?
