Hello, I have a problem seeing my mouse while I play games such as The Sims 2 or Half-Life 2. I can't figure out what to do, i've tried changing my DirectX versions from 9.0b to 9.0c, but no luck. Whenever I move my mouse I can see it, but it flashes really fast and its rather faint. When I do not move my mouse, it dissapears.

My specs are:
AMD Athlon 2200+ 1.8GHz
512MB RAM
GeForce 5900XT
Windows XP

this usually happenes when you've got other programs in the background, or have pressed the windows key or accidently ALT & Tabbed it. Its extremely probable that an application window is appearing while you play, but doesnt get shown cos ur in a full screen application. I've noticed this with Zone Alarm so I guess it happens with other programs. Hope this helps
