gigabyte or asus

Specs: Windows XP, 3400 2mb /3gb
hii :D I wanna buy new gaming pc coz my old one isn't that good enough for this massive new games and I am rly rly confused between the only 2 good company's we have here asus and gigabyte...
I went to both of them and customized 2 pc's .both of them got the same price its almost 1100$ you can check them both down and plz plz tell me witch company pc should I buy and why... also witch on is more trusted asus or gigabyte.. regards :)

gigabyte's pc might be stronger but is asus better to buy ... thanks a lot for helping :D

They're both good. There are other choices as well...ASRock, Biostar, ECS, MSI, etc. All Core i7 boards are based on the Intel X58 chipset so it's just a matter of features & price.

Why are you getting 4GB RAM? The Core i7 supports triple channel memory so you should be getting 6GB (3 x 2GB) & running a 64-bit OS, preferably Windows 7.

thank you jam you can see there is some different between the guilty ..coz I can get better things with the same budget in gigabyte pc but the thing is .. is it trustful company just like asus or asus is better ?

IMO, Asus is better. I've been using them since the 486 days and have never had one quit on me. I've had a few Gigabyte boards bite the dust.

my personal experience with just 2 boards puts gigabyte just over asus, but i suspect (after following HW trends for years) that overall, asus probably has a slight advantage over gigabyte in terms of quality, stability, durability, etc. but not by much, and not every time.

i'd also trust MSI or eVGA.
