ok i need help, my video card, a geforce4 ti4200 128mg is 8x AGP, my mother board only supports 4x AGP...but my video card will not run at even 4x AGP...just 1x, here is a screenie to show you what i mean.
I have tried setting it at 4x but i get an error saying that the speed is not maximum or below, or something of that nature, and if i put it at 2x, it just resets back to 1x after restart...i have tried messing in the BIOS and it didnt do anything... can you guys point me in the right direction?

System Specs:
P4 2.4ghz
Gf4Ti4200 128mg 8xAGP
512mg PC2700
Mobo is an MSI 645E Max Series and it's "SiS 645X Chipset Based"

if you need more info just ask...

You have to install the SiS P4 based chipset AGP driver...it should have come on a CD with your board. If you don't have it, get it from MSI:

The updated drivers give me an error, it just pops up an error message for a fraction of a second, all i can ever make out is that it cant run the setup and something about 16bit...this is really stupid, my mobo supports 4x and all the drivers are installed but it wont even run 2x...
