I have a GeForceFX 5600 and I was trying to plug in an old Logitech Wingman Extreme and plugging it into the port on the back of my card hoping that it work! I lost my serial -> USB adapter. Is there anyone who knows why my joystick is not found using that port?

Are you sure that it is a game port???

It could be a dual monitor output that happens to look like a game port!.

I can't say i've ever seen one on a graphics card before. It's usually part of the sound card.
If not, there is usually an RS232 serial port on the motherboard somewhere around the printer port on the back of your computer.
