I have a Dell 2400 with integrated 64mb intel card. I have PCI slots and I bought a GeForce FX5500. Tha thing is that whenever I plug the monitor in the GeForce slot it doesnt repsond just blinks ..if i change it to the old slot where the integrated card is it works fine.
I disabled the integrated card - it doesnt help. I uninstalled it it still doesnt help.
My friends here that have changed their cards came and they couldnt understand why is the monitor not responding.
When I go to System Device I can see the new card is there and it says its working. But when i change the montior to its slot its not working.
Is there some conflict going between the two cards or is it just a matter of compatibility btw Dell and the Geforce 5500
