whenever i try to play either pro evolution soccer 3 or fifa 2004 on my computer, all the menus run perfectly but when i get to the actual gameplay, it runs in slo motion. any ideas? thanks hopefully

The FX5200 isnt a very good card. Try turning down the details and resolution.

It could be that it's a PCI card. AGP cards perform much better. PCI is generally only used on older computer that pre-date AGP.

try getting a video card with more memory, im assuming u have a vid card with low memory, or at least not enough memory for the game ur trying to run, and try upgrading ram, that cpu should be fine though

Do you have the latest drivers for your video card? If not, download them from www.nvidia.com. You should see a huge performance increase.

The GeForce FX 5200 has a huge amount of high-quality memory. 128M manufactured by Samsung.

it's definitly the PCI that's holding it back. I have the same card expect that it's AGP 8x. Although it's not high-end, but it runs at decent frame rate with most games. :)
