My new pc upgrade will comprise of an Athlon64 3500+, and 1GB of Corsair PC3200 RAM. Will the Geforce 6800GT 256MB be a good card to go for? I have bene looking at some of the benchmarks on tomshardwareguide.com, and it comes out second to top a lot of the time, or very near there. The 6800 Ultra seems better, but that costs a lot more and is probably not worth it.

Good call on that one. The Geforce 6800 GT comes pretty close to the Ultra on many benchmarks, and offers a lot more bang for the buck.
Your CPU, RAM and Graphics card config will work nicely together.
Enjoy that card - which brand are you getting?

Good rig. The 6800 ULTRA is better, but far too expensive for a litte more performance.

Well I have around £600 ish to spend on all these parts. At the moment I have no idea which brand to go for, I wanted to find out if the chipset was a good one before I researched the actual card. Thanks a lot you guys, I may even get the parts ordered today!
