I bought a geforce 6600GT today, upgrading from my Geforce FX 5200.
After installing it correctly i then opened up Need For Speed Underground 2, i noticed that the graphics has large cracks on the car and surroundings (black patches) even on the low settings of which my old Gfx coped with perfectly.
I even opened up Farcry on very high and low settings and the same problem, however it works perfectly with Wolfenstein Enemy Territory.
System
AMD 2400+
512mb DDR PC2700
A motherboard :P
AGP 4x
80gb HddI know the card is AGP 8x but its also compatible with 4x as ive read from many places, oh and the latest driver's
Thx for any replies :D

Hi
quick question
which latest drivers are you refering to?
nvidia have recognised an issue with 6600 drivers and released (yet) another update.
ver 66.93 has a load of fixes for farcry
nfs2 works fine on mine. have you done a completely clean install from the 5200 upgrade?

Yes using the 66.93, I dont think ive done a clean install how would i go about doing this just removing the driver?

Hi
Try the latest beta drivers at Guru3d.com or nVidia. I have a 6600 GT myself and its working great the newest drivers after 66.93 contain a fix for a major problem.
