Subject: Geforce 6600 GT Not workingOS: XP proCPU/Ram: 512mb ddr |
Comment: I bought a geforce 6600GT today, upgrading from my Geforce FX 5200. After installing it correctly i then opened up Need For Speed Underground 2, i noticed that the graphics has large cracks on the car and surroundings (black patches) even on the low settings of which my old Gfx coped with perfectly. I even opened up Farcry on very high and low settings and the same problem, however it works perfectly with Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. System AMD 2400+ 512mb DDR PC2700 A motherboard :P AGP 4x 80gb Hdd I know the card is AGP 8x but its also compatible with 4x as ive read from many places, oh and the latest driver's Thx for any replies :D

Reply: (edit)Hi Try the latest beta drivers at Guru3d.com or nVidia. I have a 6600 GT myself and its working great the newest drivers after 66.93 contain a fix for a major problem. CS Tip #1 - Don't try to shoot with a knife
