Gears of war issue

CPU/Ram: AMD 4600 2 GB of Ram

After I installed Gears of War (which works perfectly) I noticed a problem with my ROXIO easy media creator program. Specifically when I go to convert video files it tells me there is an error. Then I noticed that when I go to watch an AVI file or other video file on windows media player the video is very choppy and lags. The only thing I can think of is it has something to do with Gears of War as that was the only thing that I've changed on my computer. Any suggestions?

Try deleting your temp file...C/Windows/Temp. If you cant delete all its probably because programs are currently open. Ctrl/alt/del processes and select End Process assigned to the User for all but explorer and taskmanager. Dont see how GOW could hurt Roxio other than this or configs
