Comment: Need to decide on the video card that will be the cornerstone of this gaming machine that I am putting together....I normally play Medal of Honor, GTA Vice City, Madden 2004, NBA Live, and Links Golf....I'm looking into expanding and playing RPG and Strategy games (Anyone have any suggestions?????????) Anyway, I'm torn between the Radeon 9600 and the GeForce FX 5600 Ultra....each is about $175-$200... I'm looking for smooth graphics and no choppiness....I currently have a 64MB ATI Radeon 9000 that is worse than the 32MB ATI 7500 that I had before that...(go figure!) Any suggestions would be appreciated...Please explain why as well.. Thanks

Reply: (edit)Follow dakkons advice. More RAM equals More Improvements. Pretty funny though about a 64mb ATI video card worse than 32mb. I have a Gforce and usually, I can change the graphical settings. Dunno bout ATI though. Install latest drivers by the way for your video card. I would pick Radeon 9700...
