Hi. I have a gaming computer, manufactured by Aspire. The specs are as follows:
-AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
-nVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT/GTO
-1.5 GB Ram
-149 GB Hard drive
-SyncMaster 940BW/199BW, SyncMaster Magic CX915BW(Digital) Monitor
-SoundMAX HD Audio O Sound card

I have a SoundWave 5.1 PCI card, too.

Now, my problem(s). First, there are a lot of "rogue pixels" all over my screen. They are always there, no matter what is currently open (web browsers, other windows). How can I get rid of these?

Next, almost all of my games (except Doom 3) have some sort of graphic problem. Ask if you'd like pictures for reference.

Does anyone have advice for fixing this?

Lastly, whenever I play Star Wars Battlefront 2 anymore, I can't play for longer than 5 minutes before the computer freezes for about a second, and then restarts. I bought Assassin's Creed today, and when I tried to play it, it displayed the same problems and also shut down soon after starting.

Note...I'm 16 years old, and sort of a newbie with computers. Mostly my dad has helped me with any problems I've ever had with a computer. But tonight he isn't available, and I'm desperate to play Assassin's Creed. :) So please be specific, and use simple terms. I only have a basic understanding of computers as of yet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

First thing I'd would do is to open up your computer case, and use a can of compressed air to clean out any dust accumulated on the fan and heatsink, then see if the problem goes away. If not, then your video card is going bad if you experiencing "rogue pixels" all over the screen... By the way, what is the wattage of the power supply are you using and what is the brand?
