I have cable internet through comcast and lately while i have been unable to play games through the internet because of my horrible ping. My internet connection is fine and i am able to download fairly quick on the net. I'm not sure whats going on and its making me angry and suggestions?

in order to play game smooth online, good internet connection is needed. However, this is not the only thing you need. no matter how good your connection is, a crappy PC doesnt give you smooth gameplay online. tell us what video card and CPU you have. the PC spec.

Your processor is kind of old and considered slow even though I have an even slower P4 running at 1.6 GHz...

And your video card is.. let me say.. crap..
It says you have one AGP slot available for upgrades so you have some decent choices available depending on many things such as power supply, operating system, etc.

What kind of game are you trying to run, anyways?
