|You have too many high dollar components & they're not well matched. You should be able to build a system that performs better for a hell of a lot less money.|
The Core 2 doesn't need DDR3 RAM & SLi configurations are, for the most part, a huge waste of money. If you wanna run DDR3, build a Core i7 or AMD Phenom II system. Otherwise, choose a board that supports DDR2...& you'd be better off with one based on an Intel chipset rather than nVidia. Also, consider a different PSU with a single +12v rail rather than one with a multi-rail design. Do you really need the $100 sound card & $75 Zalman? Invest that money in a better video card...how about a GeForce GTX 260 (Core 216)?
