i have got a desktop with windows xp(sp2) on it and a notebook with Windows Vista Ultimate. Can anyone help me to set up windows vista for network gaming as i am unable to do dat ... !! ThanX in advance

Post the specs of your Vista notebook...it's very possible that it's not capable of gaming.

I don't know why a "Vista notebook" would be sold with only 512MB RAM installed. 128MB of that is going toward the onboard GMA900 graphics, so the system is actually running with just 384MB. It must be painfully slow!

IMO, your notebook should NOT have Vista installed on it. Even if the RAM was upgraded to the max (1GB), it still would be better suited for XP. And the GMA900 graphics are not good for gaming.

The notebook was aimed at budget-minded users looking for a no-frills business equipment. Although, the model has since been discontinued by HP.
