Comment: I'm looking for a mouse made for gaming. Not Just for myself but for a friend of mine who only has 1 arm. FPS pose a problem since het can't press wasd to move and so on. I have a Microsoft Explorer(optical) which has 5 100% programable buttons. Its alright for me but I am looking for better. I did find the Microsoft Strategic Commander which has 12buttons and from what I gather is a cross between a mouse and joystick. the "mouse" part slides along the top of a base. If anyone has it can it be used in stead of a mouse, outside of games? To navigate in Windows? If there is other options out there let me know. Thanks

Reply: (edit)I got the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical but there are many other great mouses out there, let me list all the good ones i recommend. These are all opticals. LOGITECH MX300 - good basic 3 button including middle scroller MX500 - 5 button mouse with scroller. this one was a wierd shape to it but it should fit your hand fine, somewhat fat though. righthander MICROSOFT Intellimouse Explorer - 5 button with scroller righthander feels the same as intellimouse optical. Intellimouse Optical - same as explorer but has a shape I prefer more. left and right handers. theres a new microsoft model coming out so maybe you wana wait for that one. It all comes down to personal reference.
