i've had my pc since around christmas of last year, i've had no problems, it's been really great. as of recently i've been trying to play BF2 and CSS and when i'm trying to connect to a server, it will freeze on me and/or will crash to the desktop, and fail to terminate the program. granted my graphics card is out of date (RADEON X300 SE 128MB HyperMemory) and i have a gig of ram, but there is no excuse for this. can you guys suggest a few things for me? thanks.

Replace the video card! 7600GT would be a good bet.

There's no doubt that your video card is to blame. It has nothing to do with it being out of date...it's not that old. It's just not a good card, PERIOD! It's not meant for gaming & no amount of system RAM is gonna make up for it.

Have a look where the X300SE sits on this benchtest chart & I think you'll have your answer:

Hypermemory and turbocaching = the worst hting to happen to video cards in a long time.

Not sure why you say that. It's better than the preceding generation standard IGP's. I still wouldn't use them to game on...
