I don't know about Midnight Club 2, but BF1942 is pretty taxing on a system. I'm running this setup, and it runs pretty well, but not as well as I'd like it to...

Athlon XP 2200+
1GB PC2100 mem
Radeon 9700 Pro

Are you running the resolution really high or anything?

I have set the Resolution on the lowest possible the frame rate is just sloww its not jumpy or anything it just like something is holding it back. i have no idea what the problem is and my friend has a supposedly slower system than mine and has no problems with either. hes got p4 2.4,512mb ram pc2700 "like mine", gf4 mx440 "64mb card compared to mine 128mb and 250 $$$ less" i just dont know wat 2 do

Well, the best thing to do is this. Go to Nvidia.com and download the latest drivers for Geforce 4 Titanium. Next, check for any Windows Update/Direct X Update. There were some people saying that Geforce 4 Ti couldn't support Direct X 9.

I have Geforce 4 Mx 440 /w Agp 8x, and my graphics card works very smoothly. Try going to Start -> Control Panel -> Display - Settings, and go to the Advanced Section.
If you correctly installed the drivers, you should be able to change/tweak your graphics performance and quality. If you don't, try finding a program called RivaTuner because this will allow you to tweak your Nvidia Video Card. Once you find one, you should overclock the video card(for faster performance) and remove VSYNC(could lower fps).

Good Luck. Try finding Rivatuner at Nvidia or Search Engines(e.g, Yahoo!, Google)

i used to have the same problem. right click on my computer and bring up the device manger. select view by resource type and open irq's. make sure your video card is on its own irq.

your video card is agp right? if its agp all you have to do is change the pci card thats sharing the irq to a different pci slot. if the vid cards pci you shouldnt have that problem
