ok So here is my problem. Recently, ive noticed my PC games to be running slowly. So i defragmented my hard drive, and installed MEMTURBO to get rid of leaking RAM, and i cleaned up my hard disks.
THe performance did get alot better, but another problem poped up:

When i play any game (i.e. Condemned, Ghost recon warfighter, HL2, Doom3... etc... etc...), Theres a 1 second or more interval time between the time i press a button and the action occuring in the game.

Ex: In condemned, i press the "w"(move forward) button, for 1 or 2 secs he stays still, and then he takes a step forward.

Here are my specs in better details:

3.00 ghz dual core hyperthreading Intel cpu
1024 mb ddr2 kingston ram
80gb hard drive (i have at least 5g of free on each hard drive (i use partition magic))
Direct x9.0 c
ASUS N6600 xtreme 256 mb non-sli (i bought this card for 180$, and it runs recent games at a pretty outsanding preformance)
91.31 nvidia driver.
Sound blaster live audio card.
420 watt supply.

WEll thats about it.

It looks like a latency problem..lag?...do you get this problem on multiplayer or singleplayer?
