hello there, i was wondering if you guys could help me with something. I bought a geforce Msi Geforce fx5700 vtd 256 mb ddr (vivo) and i'm having graphic issues with some games. for example, in Need For Speed Underground in every first lap i have at every time micro-pauses. i look like the game freezes in each micro-pause about a half of second. The micro-pauses are very fast and disturbes my game. I have already downloaded the 56.64 drivers from Nvidia homepage, via 4-1 v4.51 and the latest drivers of my ac97 sound card.
The Vga card also requested for a 300Watts power supply, so i bought a 400watts. I don`t have a clue of what to do, i was wondering if the temperature may affect, but i have no game crashes to desktop. Anyway mi procesor is an AMD XP 2000+ with a MSI KT6 Delta Motherboard and a Ide Western digital harddisk of 40Gs.
please help me?

the cpu where i use internet is not mine, so dont worry, this crap is a pcchipset motherboard with an amd athlon 1ghz procesor. Look my motherboard is not so old to support the Vga card, i have an agp 8X, the mother board is a KT6 delta, i have a friend who own a KT4ultra Avl (older version) and runs properly his Fx5600 XT and he even use 400mhz ram bus that is not a very good supported memory type in the mother board, when you upgrade the Bios flash is when motherboards do not support some system hardware, i have already run some games properly, like ut2003, Lok Defiance, Hitman 2, i have problem with only ones, like NFS Underground HP2 and Call of duty, and is the same. look can you help me aplling the bios flash i donīt know and i have heard that i might damage the board . To be honest i have never even try to dare to do such a task.

When i download teh bios, is says that i must use it only if the system do not runs properly, if system is rumming good is nos suggested. my system is very good, there must be another way to fix this problems. Do you know another way to fix this problem apart of the Bios flash?
