Hey

Just wondering, my games still look a little bit choppy, so was wondering if my video card is still ok? someone on chat said it was fine and games should still run ok but im still having problems, and i dont know why, anyway have a geforce 2 mx 400. also have a standard system as u can see from specs! So is it time to upgrade? if so, im not sure wat vid card to get, lol theres so much talk on them. would love the geforce FX 5900 ultra 256mb video card lol but way 2 expensive, i live in australia by the way, that card retails to about $1000 over here.

Anyway thanx in advance!

Do not get any of the Nvidia FX cards they are sucky. If you can afford it get ati 9800 pro, but its bloddy expensive. if on a budget try getting ati radeon 9600 pro or 9700 pro or Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4600. These cards are older but still very good, especially for dx8 games.

loool the geforce FX 5900 ultra sucks? And why would he want to buy Ti4600 when its not even dx9 compatible, having said that niether are the 9600 or 9700 cards, if your gonna get a new card get a dx9 compatible one, or kiss goodbye to playing games like Halo, HL2 and Quake 4

look at the benchmarks of half life 2 and compare the nvidia fx cards to ati radeon cards.
