ive been having the same problem for a while now it seems most of the new demanding games seem to keep crashing but older ones will work fine ,
system specs DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000, Motherboard Name ASRock n61p-s 2gb of ram gefroce gt8500gt new drivers installed

Could be an overheating problem (either the CPU or video card), a weak power supply, bad RAM, driver issue, or it could just be your poor choice of a video card.
