Hey ppl im running an Asrock K7S8XE with a 2600+ 333 fsb, with 2x256 333, fx5200 128mb, 80 gig ultra ata133 HDD, and 120 gig ata 100 HDD, Im Using Xp Pro all drivers are updated the only thing is that i am not prepared to upgrade the bios, Now i dloaded the NFSU demo it runs for maybe 5 secondes after i start racing then shoots me onto the desktop with no error message at all, and everything on the desktop is working fine ive checked the error logs and there is no mention of this. Also the new freedom fighters demo runs for around 5-10 mins usually and that crashes but it gives me a message saying, the place where the file is on the hard drive (i install and run all games on my xp partition which is a 20 gig partition on my master drive the 80 gig drive) The rest of the message says, Exception at 005B7ABO: ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION freedom 005B7ABO ZGEOM_ITEM STATE REGISTER_EXPFUNC -----stack ---- freedom 005B7ABO ZGEOM_ITEM STATE REGISTER_EXPFUNC [unknown]: 0189c994 (then more of the same really then this) -------function dump---------- --------------- ($#y) loads of symbols that i dont know the key for the only 1s i know ate these 1s right here. Now thisa also happened b4 i upgarded my ram when my pc was running off the 120 gig hard drive and just 256 mb ram i ran a ram checker that works through dos and it said no errors i did in depth scans using it also all came back clean i use adaware every day always updated and spybot and also pc cillin always every day i have reinstalled xp loads as i like to have a clean system usually 1nce a month and it always happens the temp of my cpu idle is between 40c and 44c and the mobo around 29c so its not a temperature problem ive ran it with the side of the case off etc etc. GTA III will run but very very slugglish PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP SUGGEST ANYTHING IVE RAN DIAGNOSTICS ONLINE TO TEST THE WHOLE MACHINE ALL COMEBACK GOOD ITS ALWAYS DEFRAGGED ETC ETC PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Dumb question........... Do you have the latest drivers for your Video & Sound cards installed ?? Have you checked from the Manufactuer
