Ive been having issues since i installed my 6600gt agp(pny) When I play games after 10-30 minutes the thing freezes, works perfectly before that sometimes will go a little longer. I have a p4 2.4 Northwood(no overclocking) 1g ddr 2100, alienware 480 watt powersupply (new) Thermal take heat sink and fan, 1 90mm fan and an exhaust fan at the bottom pci slot, originally i thought powersupply, changed that same thing, then i thought cooling, i run between 56-58C full load plus i have froze at 51c, Gpu seems to be running between 55-65c. Im so confused, im usually answering questions, not this time, any ideas?

Update your motherboard's chipset driver to the latest, do the same thing with your video driver.

Nvidia has a beta Forceware driver 82.12, try that and see if it helps.
