Subject: Games for my Laptop?
OS: Vista
CPU/Ram: 4 GB
Model/Manufacturer: Aspire 3050
Comment:

I have an Aspire 3050 and I don't know what games i CAN play on here. I know I can play Starcraft (old as dirt game but one of the best)

Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD SEMPRON 3500+
RAM: 512MB DDR4 GB RAM
HDD: 80GB

Now I do have the Call of Duty 1 DEMO on here. But it stutters kinda bad in spots with lots of enemies. Could I run Warcraft 3 TFT on here? God I hope so. I can turn up my computer to High Performance but I don't want to fry my graphics card. I also wonder if I could put Quake 4 on here but turn down everything to rock bottom. That call of duty demo I downloaded from online so I don't know if its my computer or the game itself.

Any other games u think would run good? Also do u think Warcraft 3 TFT could run? Could it run smoothly? Please I need GOOD games!

Your laptop has a weak CPU, not enough RAM (512MB?) & weak Xpress 1100 integrated graphics. The graphics has no memory of it's own & must "steal" it from the system RAM. And the more RAM you allocate to the graphics, the worse Vista will perform.

Your laptop is NOT a gamer. If you must use it for games, stick with titles that are at least a couple of years old.

If you upgrade your RAM, you'll be able to run Warcraft III fine. You have less than 512MB of RAM dedicated to the operating system right now, since the integrated graphics reserves a portion of RAM to use as video memory.

Vista alone chokes with less than 512MB of RAM--you can forget about running a game on top of it until you have at least 1.5GB!

my dad said he upgraded the RAM to 4 GB! So it should run Warcraft 3 just fine right? I'll be happy if this is the only game I can play on here.

It should run Warcraft III quite nicely then.
