Reply: (edit)Painkiller? no way, that used to run like a dream on my crappy old MX440. Far Cry, yes, also Battlefield Vietnam. Some people are like Slinkies™, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

Reply: (edit)Everquest II is probably going to have some of the heftiest system requirements to date when it comes out. 1.ghz processor 512 MB RAM Direct X 9 compliant video card
And those are only system requirements. The recommended specs place processor speed at 2 ghz, and RAM at 1 gig!

Reply: (edit)Currently FarCry is the most demanding. You can say good bye to UltraHigh config if u dont have a better card. Painkiller is the least demanding req ever (put mem req aside), despite of its graphic engine that can pumps up 100x the poligon of other current engine (Yeah it goes to you Quake, NOLF and Unreal Engine). You can max out every feature and still runs smoothly. It really rocks. P4TypeC 2.8GHz HT ASUS P4PEX/i845 1GB DDR400 RAM 40GB/80GB HDD GeForceFX 5600XT DVD/CDRW Drive Sound Blaster Live! Reply: (edit)Don't you hate it that, once in a while, there comes out a game that basically FORCES everyone to go out and upgrade their PCs in order to play it, no matter what their rigs are?? Now it's FarCry, before that it was the first Unreal game, and before that there was Doom. I'm sure there were more games, but I only remember those because that's when I upgraded MY PC or just built a new one. AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Asus A7V600-X 512 MB of DDR RAM GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB) Seagate 120 GB SATA
