Game reslution problume

i have installed new windows but before install it all the games were working fine but after installing new windows every game that i play have black screen on both sides i have changed reslution but no affect how can i solve this problume
Start by telling why you installed "new Windows". What was wrong with "old Windows"?
Did you install all the drivers? Especially the motherboard chipset & video drivers?

turn on the pc when it loads up turn off the monitor only and leave it off for 30 seconds then turn it back on and try it. i had that problem before doing this makes the graphics card set the monitor to the correct hertz setting. hope this helps
