Hi! I recently reinstalled my computer. Before Farcry and MOH was working fine, now they quit to the desktop after the starting-picture. What could be wrong? I have a Radeon 9800 graphicscard and a built in Soundmax soundcard.

Did you update ALL your drivers (chipset, video, audio, etc) and games after the reinstallation? Have you been to windows update to install all the updates for the OS - especially DirectX9.0c? Michael J

i sometimes have that problem, after it happens open task manager and ur application should be there, double click on it! If it isn't there is obviously some component of yours eg, video card isn't working! hope that helps! Richard :

Hm, not sure what you mean richbot. I can see the farcry.exe in the taskmanager but nothing happends when I click on it. Do you have any more advice? And to MichaelJ; Yes I think I have all the drivers, but I suspects that the videodriver isn't the right one.

find the latest driver on the ATI website for the Radeon 9800 and download it and install it. and ctrl+alt+dlt and go to processes and find the game (farcry.exe or similiar) and right click and set processes to high or realtime. then go back to applications and double click on farcry.exe

Well, did all that and it still doesn't work. Tried a progam called "security task manager" and got the following errors.
